Campaign Tent Pole Strap with Hooks


Origin: England   Period: Circa 1900

A rare survivor from the time of the Boer War these tent pole hooks were probably made by the Army and Navy Co-operative Society Ltd (CSL), although they are not marked they are stamped 2B2. The brass and leather strap is lined with corrugated rubber to help grip the tent pole, the strap also adjusts to accomodate different size diameter tent poles.

Wear commensurate with age and use.
