A pair of watercolours by David Gould GREEN (1854-1917/18)

Origin: England   Period: Circa 1890

A pair of watercolours by David Gould Green depicting two coastal scenes, both signed D Green.

At the back of each watercolour a label - probably put by the framer in a later period - shows: "Cliffs near Hastings" (the one signed at the lower right hand corner) and  "Low Water, Whitby" (the one signed at the lower left hand corner).

They come in a nicely ornate gesso/gilded frame although we believe the frames are of later period, possibly 1940'.

cm 17.5 x 12
cm 33 x 28 (including frame)
