Origin: England   Period: Circa 1830

An excellent and very comfortable Georgian / Regency mahogany reclining library Armchair with scroll arm supports and brass side plates attached to the outside of the arms to accommodate a reading lectern and or candle sconces.

The seat and back advance and recline above a pull out foot rest with a triple easel action support; carved foliate decoration are on either side of the foot rest.

All supported by turned front legs and sabre style rear legs on brass castors.
